People's Army Newspaper presents Tet gifts in Thanh Chuong district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 11, the People's Army Newspaper coordinated with Thien Tam Fund and Vingroup Corporation to present Tet gifts for the year of the Dragon 2024 to families in difficult circumstances in Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province.
Attending the gift-giving ceremony were: Colonel Ngo Anh Thu - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper; Colonel Tran Vo Viet - Deputy Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command; Trinh Van Nha - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong District, along with representatives of local Party committees, authorities and disadvantaged households in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Ngo Anh Thu - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper said that in recent times, the People's Army Newspaper has coordinated with Thien Tam Fund and Vingroup Corporation to organize many Tet gift giving events for people in many localities across the country. This is an activity demonstrating the responsibility and affection of the officers and reporters of the People's Army Newspaper; leaders and employees of Vingroup Corporation towards social security activities for the community.
The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper emphasized that Thanh Chuong is a land rich in revolutionary and cultural traditions with many famous people and red addresses associated with the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement. The land has been greatly affected by natural disasters and wars but has always strived to rise up from the period of revolutionary struggle, defending the Fatherland to the cause of building the homeland today.
The Deputy Editor-in-Chief hopes that the gifts from the People's Army Newspaper and Vingroup Corporation will bring a little joy to the people before the coming of Tet and Spring, and hopes that the government and people of Thanh Chuong will continue to promote the revolutionary spirit, unite and overcome all difficulties to join hands to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.
Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province has 53km of Ho Chi Minh road passing through 11 communes, including 5 border communes. In recent years, with the attention of all levels and the efforts of the people, the appearance and socio-economic life of the district have made many improvements, but still face many difficulties.

On this occasion, the People's Army Newspaper coordinated with Thien Tam Fund and Vingroup Corporation to present 200 gifts with a total value of 120 million VND to people in difficult circumstances in Thanh Chuong district.
