Construction security for resettlement area of ​​Vinh - Cua Lo connecting road project

The investment project to build the Vinh - Cua Lo road (phase 1) through Nghi Duc commune, Vinh city was affected by 126 residential land plots that had to be relocated to hand over the site for the project.

To provide new housing for the people, Nghi Duc Commune People's Committee coordinated with departments, agencies and branches of Vinh City People's Committee to establish detailed planning, dividing plots and land for resettlement areas in the areas of Xuan Duc, Xuan Dong, Xuan Tin and Huong Tin hamlets. This is land for agricultural production, land for annual crops and other types of land.

After completing the confirmation of land use origin of households subject to land acquisition for resettlement purposes and mapping, detailed planning, and compensation plans for site clearance, the majority of households agreed to receive compensation and hand over the land to the project.

Only 6 households in Xuan Duc and Xuan Dong hamlets did not comply. The commune People's Committee and the city's functional departments and agencies repeatedly communicated and mobilized, but these households still obstructed the construction process.

To ensure the project is completed on schedule, Vinh City and Nghi Duc Commune People's Committee have developed a plan to ensure security and order in implementing the project to build a resettlement area for the Vinh - Cua Lo traffic route for households that obstruct the project's construction.

At the construction protection session, after announcing the plan, the authorities sealed off the site, mobilized machinery and equipment to level the ground and hand it over to the construction unit. The construction protection session took place in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law.

At a meeting on the progress of key projects, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy requested Vinh city to carry out site clearance on this route before April 30, 2019.
