Arrested 2 subjects specializing in stealing donation boxes
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 19, Yen Thanh District Police said they were detaining two subjects, Bui Dinh Thuan (born in 1994), residing in Xuan Thanh Commune, and Nguyen Huu Manh (born in 2002), residing in Bac Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for theft of property.
Previously, on October 13, Yen Thanh District Police received a report that Duc Hoang Temple in Hong Phong Hamlet, Phuc Thanh Commune had its safe (donation box) broken into by thieves, stealing 10 million VND.

After receiving the report, the District Police established a special project and mobilized forces to investigate and clarify the case. With the synchronous and effective use of professional measures and great efforts and determination, at 3:30 p.m. on October 16, 2022, Yen Thanh District Police broke the case and arrested two subjects, Bui Dinh Thuan (born in 1994), residing in Xuan Thanh Commune, and Nguyen Huu Manh (born in 2002), residing in Bac Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for theft of property.
At the police station, the suspects confessed that they took advantage of the darkness to break into Duc Hoang Temple, then used a lockpicking tool to break the safe of the donation box to steal money for personal use.
Currently, Yen Thanh District Police are consolidating evidence and documents to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law./.
