Arrested 2 suspects who specialized in using weapons to rob female workers
Taking advantage of the darkness, Lap and Nhan followed female workers on their motorbikes from the industrial park home. When they reached a deserted road, they blocked their vehicles and used weapons to rob them.
On September 12, Cho Gao District Police, Tien Giang Province announced that they had just detained Nguyen Duc Lap (29 years old) and Huynh Thien Nhan (20 years old), both residing in Tan Khanh Ward, Tan An City, Long An Province, to investigate the act of "Robbery".

According to initial investigation, around June 2019, in My Tinh An commune, Cho Gao district, there were many robberies. The suspects took advantage of the dark night (from 7-9 pm) to use motorbikes to follow female workers going home from Tan Huong Industrial Park. When they saw their "prey" entering the alleys, the suspects blocked the road, used weapons to control and rob them of their property, then escaped.
Using professional measures, at about 10:30 a.m. on September 11, Cho Gao District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Tien Giang Province Police and Tan Khanh Ward Police, Tan An City, Long An Province to urgently arrest Lap and Nhan.
Initially, at the police station, both confessed to committing two robberies in My Tinh An commune, Cho Gao district. Searching the suspects’ residence, the police seized many objects, assets and vehicles related to the robberies, including two mobile phones of the victims.
