(Baonghean.vn) - On many central streets of Vinh city, dump trucks, tankers, and container trucks still run noisily in residential areas despite prohibited hours and roads.

To ensure traffic safety and limit traffic congestion, Vinh City has posted signs prohibiting large trucks and bulky passenger cars from traveling on many inner-city routes from 6am to 10pm every day. Photo taken at 8:45am on March 13.
However, there are still many banned vehicles that are still openly circulating. These vehicles freely circulate on the banned road, during the banned time, even during rush hour, without encountering any obstacles. Photo taken at 9:45 a.m. on March 12.
Entering the inner city during the prohibited hours, these heavy trucks can easily cause traffic safety problems. Typically, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street is always crowded with vehicles, easily congested during rush hour, every time a tanker truck passes by, motorbikes have to move to the side of the road. The prohibition signs posted at the beginning of the roads in Vinh city seem to have no effect on these "monster vehicles". Photo taken at 8:46 a.m. on March 13.
Right at the beginning of Kim Dong Street, from the turn from Le Hong Phong Street, trucks often stop and park behind the no-entry sign waiting to load goods or pass through here. Photo taken at 9:50 a.m. on March 12.
The bulky truck traveling during rush hour on Le Hong Phong Street has made many people feel uneasy. Not only causing disorder and traffic safety, these "monster trucks" brazenly driving into prohibited roads, speeding and overtaking recklessly are one of the causes of urban traffic jams. The tragic accident between a container truck and two motorbikes that occurred on Le Loi Street on March 11 has made many people even more worried as on many central city roads, dump trucks, tankers, and container trucks still run loudly and "rush" straight into residential areas and schools, despite prohibited hours and roads.
