Accordingly, at 11am this morning, National Highway 7 was flooded from Km5+600 to Km6, through Dien Cat commune; from Km8+600 to K9, through Minh Chau commune, Dien Chau district; from K14+500-Km15+500 and Km 17+18 through Bao Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. The deepest point of flooding was 60cm. The peak yesterday was 1m deep.
At this time, National Highway 7 through Cong Thanh and Bao Thanh communes, Yen Thanh district is still deeply flooded with a length of about 300 meters. At the flooded point of National Highway 7 in Cong Thanh commune (Yen Thanh), it can be seen that at the beginning of the road there is a barrier with a warning "Deep flooded roadvery dangerous, all vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from circulating", with forces standing guard. However, a series of motorbikes and cars still tried to pass the checkpoint. Some motorbikes later died in the middle of the road due to flooding.

A worker from the Road Administration Department II said: We have put out warnings and asked all vehicles not to pass, but many people still deliberately crossed the very dangerous flooded area.

Mr. Ngo Viet Hung - Deputy Director of the Road Management Department II (Road Management Department II) said: "Due to prolonged heavy rain, National Highway 7 from Dien Chau to Yen Thanh,Do LuongMany sections were flooded. Our unit coordinated with local authorities to be on duty 24/7 at checkpoints. Vehicles going to Do Luong, Thanh Chuong and the upper communes of Yen Thanh district were instructed to return to National Highway 7C (Road N5). However, some people still dared to cross, despite warnings, which was very dangerous."
