Arrested drug dealer using machete to fight back against authorities

On the morning of December 12, Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police, said: The unit has just presided over and coordinated with Keng Du Border Guard Station to arrest Xeo Pho Son (born in 1986), residing in Quyet Thang village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, for the act of illegal drug trafficking, confiscating 400 synthetic drug pills, 1 flintlock gun and 1 machete.

Through reconnaissance work, the Ky Son District Police discovered that Xeo Pho Son had many suspicious signs of drug crimes. According to collected documents and evidence, Xeo Pho Son often met with drug dealers to trade drugs in remote forest areas. Notably, Son used hot weapons, a flintlock gun with bullets and a machete, to fight back if he was tracked and discovered by the authorities.

After a long time of secretly monitoring all activities and methods of the subject, at about 6:30 p.m. on December 11, the Ky Son District Police force coordinated with Keng Du Border Guard Station to raid and catch Xeo Pho Son red-handed while he was trading "goods" with a "ringleader".

Being caught by surprise, Xeo Pho Son did not have time to load his flintlock gun, so he grabbed a machete and fought back fiercely. However, with professional measures and intelligence and bravery, the reconnaissance teams of Ky Son District Police and soldiers of Keng Du Border Guard Station were able to defeat Xeo Pho Son.

At the scene, the Investigation Team and soldiers of Keng Du Border Guard Station seized 400 synthetic drug pills, 1 flintlock gun and 1 machete. The "ringleader" took advantage of the chaos to escape.

Currently, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Ky Son District Police is criminally detaining Xeo Pho Son and completing the file to handle the subject according to the law.
