Seized 181 kg of fireworks and food of unknown origin
(Baonghean.vn) - A shipment weighing 181 kg including fireworks and various foods of unknown origin being transported from Vinh to Que Phong district was seized by Nghi Loc district police.

At 12:30 p.m. on January 8, while patrolling at Km 450+400 National Highway 1A, Block 4, Quan Hanh Town, a working group of the Traffic Police Team (Nghi Loc District Police) discovered a truck with license plate 37V 3716 traveling from Vinh to Dien Chau with signs of carrying goods related to smuggling and commercial fraud.

Carrying out the order to stop the vehicle for inspection, the working group discovered 13 kg of flares, 11 kg of beef jerky, 21 kg of sausages, 15 kg of frozen chicken feet and 121 kg of various foods such as cakes, candies, smoothies, milk tea seeds, fish balls, dried chicken, minced meat... in the truck's trunk.
Driver Que Van Hung (born in 1982, residing in Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district) could not present documents related to the above goods and admitted to transporting them for hire for small traders from Vinh city to Que Phong district for sale.

Currently, all of these goods of unknown origin are being seized by Nghi Loc District Police for handling according to regulations.
