Arrested 3 subjects hiding nearly 2,000 drug pills in rubber gloves
Yen Thanh District Police arrested 3 suspects and seized nearly 2,000 synthetic drug pills wrapped in rubber gloves hidden in the sink.
Through the work of grasping the situation, Yen Thanh District Police discovered an illegal drug trafficking ring and established a special project to fight it.
After a period of surveillance, on June 25, Yen Thanh District Police caught Nguyen Van Phuong (born in 1999), residing in Long Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh) red-handed for "Illegal drug trafficking". 11 synthetic drug pills were seized from his shirt pocket. At the investigation agency, Phuong admitted that due to addiction, he bought drugs from an "acquaintance" to use.

Expanding the investigation, the Special Task Force continued to arrest two subjects Nguyen Van Sang (born in 1998) and Trinh Xuan Danh (born in 1979), both residing in Bao Thanh commune, for the act of "Illegal drug trafficking". Through the investigation, verification and documentary evidence, the police determined that Nguyen Van Sang was the subject "connecting" addicts to buy drugs. Danh was the subject "providing" and retailing drugs.

During an emergency search of Trinh Xuan Danh’s residence, the police seized 1,989 synthetic drug pills wrapped in rubber gloves hidden in the sink. At the investigation agency, Danh admitted to buying the drugs to retail for profit. The case is currently under further investigation.
