Seized more than 1 ton of buffalo and cow skin of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - The driver admitted that the buffalo and cow hides were transported from Quy Hop to Hamlet 5B, Nghia Thuan Commune (Thai Hoa Town) for the owner, Nguyen Thi Minh Thu.

At around 9:40 a.m. on May 5, while patrolling and controlling on National Highway 48 through Dong Hieu Commune, the Traffic Police Team of Thai Hoa Town Police discovered and detained a truck with license plate 37C-15372 carrying more than 1 ton of buffalo and cow hides of unknown origin.

The driver, Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1978, residing in Hamlet 1, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town), confessed that the buffalo and cow skin was transported from Quy Hop to Hamlet 5B, Nghia Thuan Commune for the owner, Nguyen Thi Minh Thu.

Thai Hoa Town Police have handed over the buffalo and cow skins to Thai Hoa Town Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
