Emergency arrest of subject who used knife to slit the throat of a passerby to rob property
While lacking money to spend, Vinh had the idea of robbing her. When he discovered that Ms. H. was carrying a phone, Vinh restrained her, robbed her of her property, and escaped.
Information from Bien Hoa City Police (Dong Nai) said that they have urgently arrested Nguyen Quang Vinh (born 1996), residing in Bien Hoa City, to investigate the act of robbery.
Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on November 27, Ms. NTH (born in 1976), residing in Bien Hoa City, was walking with her daughter in a residential area in Thong Nhat Ward, Bien Hoa City when she was suddenly robbed by a person with a knife. The person used a knife to threaten Ms. H.'s neck and stole her phone. At this moment, Ms. H. struggled to call for help, but the person used a knife to injure her neck and took her iPhone 12 and escaped.

The victim was taken to the emergency room by local people. Due to the struggle with the subject, Ms. H. was injured in the neck and had to get more than 10 stitches.
Upon receiving the news, Bien Hoa City Police directed the Criminal Police Team to coordinate with professional teams to quickly focus on investigating and extracting camera footage to capture the subject.
After nearly 2 days of pursuit, at noon on November 29, Bien Hoa City Police discovered and arrested Nguyen Quang Vinh who was hiding in Phuoc Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City.
At the police station, the suspect stated that because he had no money to spend, he prepared a knife to find someone to rob. When he arrived at the location, he discovered that Ms. H. was carrying a phone, so Vinh restrained her to rob her.
According to the police, Nguyen Quang Vinh has two previous convictions for robbery and burglary. He was just released from prison in 2021 and then committed another crime.
The police are expanding the investigation into the case and handling it according to the law./.
