Arrest of suspect in murder and robbery on tea hill

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 3:00 p.m. on May 24, Anh Son District Police arrested Tran Huu Dung (born in 1981, residing in Hamlet 2, Dinh Son Commune) to investigate a suspected murder and robbery case that occurred in Cam Son Commune.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, Cam Son Commune Police received a report from residents who discovered the body of a man on a tea hill in Tan Tien village.

Immediately afterwards, Cam Son Commune police arrived at the scene and reported the incident to Anh Son District Police. The district police sent a working group to coordinate with the commune police to protect the scene and investigate the incident.

In the initial investigation, the police identified the victim as Nguyen Van Son (born in 1970, residing in Hamlet 6, Dai Son Commune, Do Luong District). The victim had multiple stab wounds on his back and chest. It is known that Son was a cattle trader.

Immediately afterwards, Anh Son district police checked, investigated and at 3pm arrested suspect Tran Huu Dung (born in 1981, residing in Hamlet 2, Dinh Son Commune) at his rented room in Cam Son Commune. Searching the room, the police seized some money and the victim's motorbike.

Dung is known to be a drug addict and has a criminal record for theft. Dung has just moved into the above rented house for a while.

The case is currently under investigation by the police.
