Closing the 2nd session, Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term XVIII
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 13, in Vinh City, after 1.5 days of serious and urgent work, with the spirit of democracy, innovation and high responsibility, the second session of the 18th Provincial People's Council completed all the contents and agenda and closed.
Comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the session.

At the working session this morning, the Provincial People's Council reviewed and approved 26 draft resolutions. Previously, on the afternoon of August 12, delegates discussed and requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors to accept and revise the contents of a number of resolutions. The resolutions were accepted and revised before being submitted to the meeting this morning.
In this morning's working session, the Secretariat presented a summary report summarizing the comments of the Provincial People's Council delegates on the draft Resolutions and the opinions and explanations of the drafting agency.

Immediately afterwards, under the direction of the session chairman, the delegates voted to pass 26 draft resolutions. In particular, based on objective and comprehensive analysis and assessment of favorable opportunities, difficulties and challenges; with a high sense of responsibility towards voters and people, in the Resolution on implementing tasks in the last 6 months of 2021,The Provincial People's Council agreed not to adjust the 2021 goals and targets set in Resolution No. 17 dated December 13, 2020 to serve as motivation to strive for implementation in the remaining months of 2021.

In his closing speech at the meeting, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity, and consensus; perseverance, steadfastness, determination; synchronization, creativity and flexibility in direction and administration to successfully implement the set targets at the highest level.

First of all, focus resources on the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic with the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", protecting the lives and health of the people.is above all, first of all.
Along with that, focus on leadership and direction to remove difficulties and obstacles, create the most favorable conditions within the legal framework to maximize the production capacity of all industries, fields and economic sectors.
The Provincial People's Council needs to continue to innovate its organizational and operational methods. After the session, the Provincial People's Council delegates continue to meet with voters, report on the results of the session, disseminate and propagate the resolution; actively listen to and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of voters and people to promptly make recommendations and reflect to the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee for consideration and resolution.
