Nghe An General Friendship Hospital launched a campaign to support Tet for the poor in 2025
On the morning of January 8, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital held a launching ceremony to support Tet for the Poor in 2025.
Responding to the Letter calling for support and assistance for the poor in difficult circumstances to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025 of the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; to help the poor enjoy the Spring Festival, celebrate the Lunar New Year, overcome difficulties and rise up in life, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital organized a launching ceremony, calling on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the hospital to promote the spirit of mutual love and support to join hands to support the Lunar New Year for the Poor in 2025.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Huong - Party Secretary, DirectorNghe An General Friendship Hospitalstated: In recent years, in parallel with focusing on professional development to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment to serve the people, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital has always paid attention to the work of gratitude, towards the poor, with many meaningful activities such as: receiving and caring for heroic Vietnamese mothers, caring for policy beneficiaries, families of people with revolutionary contributions, poor patients, people of poor communes, cadres and employees in difficult circumstances...
From 2023 to now, the amount of money that the hospital's staff and employees have donated to social activities is more than 2 billion VND. With this amount, the hospital has repaired and built 16 new houses for policy beneficiaries and those with housing difficulties in Nghe An province; helped poor households and patients in difficult circumstances... These activities have contributed to maintaining political stability, strengthening national defense and security, ensuring social security and have been recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees and authorities at all levels.

At the launching ceremony, officers, civil servants and employees of Nghe An General Hospital donated to support Tet for the Poor in 2025. The total amount collected at the ceremony was 325 million VND.
