Get out of poverty and get rich
After 5am, the late summer sun in the highlands has lit up the Pieng Pang valley. The sound of machines cutting and mixing animal feed in the garden of Secretary Vang Van Muon's family is bustling. With hands covered in grass, wiping sweat from his face, Mr. Muon shared: "As the Party cell secretary, I always worry about how to gradually change the habit of waiting, relying, and waiting for support from the State of Party members and people; encourage the spirit of work and creativity of the people".
From that concern, the Party Committee and the village management board met many times and agreed: Only when each village cadre takes the lead, does it first, and then actively does a good job of mass mobilization work, will the people have the confidence to follow.

True to his word, in 2020, Mr. Vang Van Muon invested in the VAC integrated economic model. At first, there were many difficulties, with little capital, small-scale investment, and poor care techniques, so livestock grew slowly and died of disease, causing heavy losses to the family.
With the determination of “as long as there are people, there is property”, in early 2020, he boldly borrowed 50 million VND from the Agricultural Bank, plus his family’s capital to invest in rebuilding barns, renovating the garden in the direction of a family farm, raising commercial livestock in captivity, planting grass, bananas, cassava, and selecting various vegetables. Then he went up to the upper commune and down to the lower village to learn from the experience of building models.
