At this citizen reception session, the opinions, complaints and denunciations focused on issues related to the land sector in Thanh Chuong and Dien Chau districts, and Cua Lo town; including 5 opinions from citizens of Dien Chau district.

Some citizens said that the content of people's complaints and petitions has lasted for decades but has not been answered or resolved satisfactorily, such as the case related to compensation for site clearance for the construction of a water canal in Cua Lo town; questions related to the area of ​​reclaimed land in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district; the auction of land for subdivision and sale in Dien Dong commune (Dien Chau)...

After listening to people's opinions, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh requested leaders of relevant departments, branches and local authorities to respond to the progress and results of handling citizens' petitions and denunciations.

Regarding some specific cases, such as the content of people's reflections related to compensation for site clearance and granting of land use rights in Nghi Thu and Thu Thuy wards (Cua Lo town); the recovery and planning of residential land for households renting business premises in Dung town, Thanh Chuong district, the Provincial Party Secretary directed the local authorities to have direct dialogues with citizens, with the participation of relevant levels and sectors to thoroughly resolve opinions and ensure legitimate interests for the people. In addition, strictly handle violations if any.

Regarding the citizen's denunciation of activities with signs of violations related to the planning and auction of land lots near National Highway 7B in Dien Dong and Dien Ky communes, Dien Chau district, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to investigate and have an inspection conclusion to respond to the people and resolve the matter.

Also at the August citizen reception session, in addition to complaints and denunciations related to land, people also sent to the Provincial Party Secretary opinions on admitting party members, worrying that the violations of officials would affect people's trust in the Party committee, government and grassroots party organizations.

Responding to the people, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh expressed his determination in directing and handling violations and strictly handling officials, party members and citizens who violate the law.

By the end of the citizen reception session, 13 citizens attended the working session, of which 6 citizens in the afternoon reflected on issues related to land disputes and unsatisfactory court trials in Thanh Chuong, Dien Chau and Quynh Luu districts.

The Provincial Party Secretary also received and directed relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to consider, respond and resolve people's petitions, complaints and denunciations in accordance with the law.
