Provincial Party Secretary requests strict handling of violations by officials and party members

Also attending the citizen reception session were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The July session of the Provincial Party Secretary had 18 registrations. In the morning, there were 11 comments, in the afternoon, there were 7 comments reflecting the recommendations and denunciations at the working session.

The contents reflected by citizens mainly relate to disputes and complaints in the field of land such as granting land use right certificates; compensation for site clearance on National Highway 1A, Vinh - Cua Lo road; compensation for site clearance of a number of investment projects in Vinh city, Nghi Loc district...

In addition, citizens also made recommendations on the working spirit and results of handling complaints and denunciations by local authorities.

Listening to the opinions of the people, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh directed departments, branches, sectors and localities to handle and specifically respond to the citizens' petitions. For some specific cases, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee directed the Provincial Inspectorate to establish an inspection team to verify some contents of citizens' complaints and denunciations such as the opinions of people in Dien Chau district, Thanh Chuong, Cua Lo town, Vinh city... to respond and resolve for the people in accordance with the provisions of law.

For example, regarding the land dispute related to the Hoang family temple in Dien Phuc commune, Dien Chau district, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee to preside over working with the Dien Chau district People's Committee and related parties to resolve this long-standing complaint.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh also requested relevant localities to coordinate with functional agencies to investigate and verify the specific case to strictly handle violations by officials and party members to ensure the strictness and fairness of the law if the citizen's accusation is correct.
