Peace in Tan Lap parish
(Baonghean.vn) - In recent times, Tan Lap parish, Cau Giat town (Quynh Luu) has had many good and creative ways to effectively maintain the model of "Peaceful parish, free of social evils", contributing to promoting socio-economic development and building a civilized urban area in the area.
Tan Lap Parish has 370 households, with 1,500 people. With the motto of "Self-prevention, self-management, self-protection, self-reconciliation" as the top priority, the parish has established a security team with 19 volunteers participating. The team has assigned members to take turns on duty and patrol day and night, to remind children not to gather in large numbers past the prescribed time and not to violate social evils such as: theft, lottery, gambling, drugs, fighting... At the same time, it conducts reconciliation of conflicts and disagreements between families in the residential area.

In particular, the Bishop often admonished, especially the young generation, to live with the right purpose and ideals so as not to be tempted by evils, thereby becoming useful people for society.

Thanks to effective and practical methods, people always strictly comply with the rights and obligations of citizens. Therefore, despite the special feature of being located in the center of the district, there are no criminals or social evils in the parish.

Tan Lap Parish is one of the areas without social evils, the security situation is basically stable. This issue is highly appreciated by the town thanks to the leadership, active and effective participation of the pastoral council, especially the parish priest as well as the security team. That is, regularly deploying security work in each area, around the church and blocks where both parishioners and non-church people live.
