The Provincial Military Command hands over gratitude houses to Agent Orange victims in Do Luong.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020), on the morning of November 17, the Provincial Military Command held a ceremony to hand over the House of Gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Ham Liem's family in Hamlet 7, Quang Son Commune, Do Luong District.
Attending were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Khan Toan - Deputy Chief of Politics of the Provincial Military Command and representatives of the leaders of Quang Son commune (Do Luong).
Mr. Nguyen Ham Liem’s family is a victim of Agent Orange, living in extremely difficult circumstances, with unstable health and frequent illnesses. The house where the family used to live has seriously deteriorated, but they have no means to repair it.

After nearly 3 months of implementation, with the efforts of all levels, sectors, neighbors and family, the gratitude house of Mr. Nguyen Ham Lien's family was completed on time with a total usable area of over 90m2 and closed auxiliary works, ensuring quality and living facilities with a cost of over 200 million VND. In which, the Provincial Military Command supported 80 million VND from the "Repaying gratitude" Fund of the Provincial Military Command and the help of working days from organizations, relatives, neighbors and the efforts of Mr. Nguyen Ham Liem's family.
This is a gift of small material value, but it shows the deep affection of comrades and teammates, and the heart of the provincial military officers and soldiers towards policy beneficiaries and families.
After the handover ceremony, the Provincial Military Command continued to call on officers and soldiers of the Do Luong District Military Command, along with the local government, departments, branches, organizations and people to continue to support living materials to help Mr. Nguyen Ham Liem's family stabilize their lives in the coming time.
