Minister of Public Security offers incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 8, a working delegation from the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Internal Affairs Commission came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the late Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

The working delegation included comrades: General To Lam - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission;Vu Chien Thang - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of departments and units under the Ministry of Public Security.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Le Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Major General Vo Trong Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police.

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, General To Lam and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory, expressing their infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of our Party and People, Hero of National Liberation, and outstanding cultural celebrity.

The great career and noble example of President Ho Chi Minh will always live with the mountains and rivers of Vietnam. His thoughts, morality and style will always be the foundation and compass for all actions, illuminating and guiding the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another.

Implementing his sacred testament, under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnam People's Public Security has implemented models and tasks in studying, self-examining, self-correcting, and setting an example according to the motto: "Launching goes hand in hand with action", "Above first, below later", "Words go hand in hand with actions" with concrete actions. From there, effectively implementing the content of the emulation movements "For national security"; the People's Public Security movement studying and implementing Uncle Ho's 6 teachings; the campaign "Building the style of a People's Public Security officer with courage, humanity, serving the people"; determined to excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State and people, worthy of the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation vowed to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality and style.

Next, at Trung Phuc Cuong commune, Nam Dan district, Minister of Public Security To Lam and the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Memorial House of Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan - former Politburo member, former Minister of Public Security on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the late Minister's birth (January 23, 1916 - January 23, 2021).

At the ceremony, delegates respectfully offered incense and fresh flowers to the spirit of comrade Tran Quoc Hoan, expressing their respect and gratitude for his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation, building the People's Public Security force and to his homeland Nghe An.

Over the past 75 years, under the leadership of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the entire People's Public Security force has united, overcome difficulties, strived to excellently complete its tasks, and improved in all aspects of work. The role and position of the People's Public Security force have been increasingly raised domestically and internationally. There have been many officers and soldiers with bravery, intelligence, and courage in combat; dedicated and devoted to serving the People, recognized and admired by the Party Committee, the government, and the People, further enhancing the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security.

Before the spirit of Minister Tran Quoc Hoan, the comrades in the delegation pledged to forever follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho; to study and follow his example to build an increasingly disciplined and modern People's Public Security force, to excellently fulfill its tasks in the new situation, worthy of the noble title and glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security.

Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan's birth name was Nguyen Trong Canh, born on January 23, 1916 in Duong Lieu village, Nam Duong commune, now Trung Phuc Cuong commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan was aware of the revolution early, followed the call of the Party, in 1934, he was admitted to the Indochinese Communist Party when he turned 18 years old.

He was an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, a staunch communist soldier, a typical senior leader of the Party, and was assigned many important responsibilities by the Party and the State. Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan was a member of the Party Central Committee for more than 30 years and a member of the Politburo for more than 20 years.

As Minister of Public Security from 1953 to 1980, comrade Tran Quoc Hoan always focused on building the People's Public Security force into an important, trustworthy armed force, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the People.

His life and revolutionary career are a shining example of revolutionary ethics, loyalty to the country, filial piety to the people; dedication to work, intelligence, and determination to fight against counter-revolutionaries and all types of criminals.
