Minister of Planning and Investment commemorates President Ho Chi Minh and visits economic model in Nam Dan

Next, comrade Nguyen Chi Dung and the delegation visited the economic development model of Mr. Nguyen Van Quang's family in Dai Loc hamlet, Thuong Tan Loc commune (Nam Dan).

On factory area 2,000m2, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang's family has invested in a model of growing oyster mushrooms. From raw materials such as sawdust and agricultural and forestry by-products, the model has used microbial products and closed technology to produce mushrooms that are popular in the market. This is the first year that Mr. Nguyen Van Quang's family has chosen the oyster mushroom growing model to develop the economy. On average, 80 kg of commercial mushrooms are brought to the market every day.
Recognizing the family's efforts in developing the individual household economy, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung affirmed that for an agricultural area with abundant raw materials, this is a model with the right direction. The Minister also said that to achieve higher efficiency, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang's family should expand the scale of mushroom production with the participation of many farming households. From there, it will create higher added value and help many people.

Talking to Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, the leader of Nam Dan district said that based on the mushroom growing model in Thuong Tan Loc commune of Mr. Nguyen Van Quang's family, the local government has developed a project to form a mushroom production cooperative to improve the lives and economic efficiency of the people.
