The Ministry of Health requires pharmaceutical businesses to deploy measures to respond to and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
The Ministry of Health has just sent an official dispatch to the Departments of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities; drug and pharmaceutical ingredient trading establishments, guiding response measures at pharmaceutical trading establishments during the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control period.
Currently, the Covid-19 epidemic situation is complicated worldwide. In the country, the epidemic still poses a risk of infection to workers in labor facilities, industrial parks and pharmaceutical businesses.
To specify measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in order to minimize the spread of the epidemic, ensure the health and occupational safety and hygiene for workers, stabilize production and business activities and ensure adequate supply of drugs for medical examination and treatment facilities, the Ministry of Health (Standing Agency of the National Steering Committee) has developed guidelines for response measures at pharmaceutical business establishments during the period of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and sent them to relevant units.
