Nghe An mountainous specialties present at the Western spring fair
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee organized a Western Spring Festival in Con Cuong District with many cultural and artistic exchange activities, folk games and a spring fair. This activity contributes to promoting and introducing local specialties.
The fair is held for 3 days (from January 25 to 27). Along with that, the Western Spring Festival is held on a large scale on the evening of January 26.

Therefore, the fair is an opportunity for ethnic minorities in Con Cuong district to display and promote local specialties such as oranges, orange products, local fruits, Pu Mat medicinal tea, fermented wine, jar wine, brocade products, rattan and bamboo products, ethnic specialties such as sour meat, meatballs, pickled vegetables as well as Tet candies, ornamental plants, etc.

The fair has dozens of booths of units, cooperatives, businesses, companies, in which each commune and town has a separate booth displaying local products: such as vegetables, dried bamboo shoots, rice wine, brocade, wine made from leaves and dishes of the Thai people, rattan and bamboo products, clean food...
Ms. Kha Thi Tim - Vice Chairman of Con Cuong District People's Committee said: After the Western Spring Fair, Con Cuong will continue to open Muong Qua market, a traditional market of the Thai people on December 25 in Mon Son commune.
