Localities give gifts to victims of Agent Orange/dioxin
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the Day for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - 2018), the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Nghia Dan and Quynh Luu districts organized a gift giving ceremony for victims in the area.

At Nghia Dan,Those directly affected by Agent Orange/dioxin were given gifts worth 300,000 VND/gift and those indirectly affected were given 200,000 VND/gift. The total value of the gifts was nearly 71 million VND.

On this occasion, the District Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin visited and presented gifts to 137 members across the district, including 132 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND; 3 scholarships for students, each worth 1 million VND and 2 economic development support, each worth 10 million VND. The total value is 62,600,000 VND, this amount is taken from the mobilization fund of the District Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.
