Nghi Loc: Lemon seller fined 10 million VND

On August 24, the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district administratively sanctioned Ms. BTT, 58 years old, in LH hamlet, Nghi Dien commune for not implementing the decision to apply measures to limit mass gatherings.

Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on August 20, 2021, the Covid-19 prevention and control patrol team in Nghi Dien commune discovered that at Ms. BTT's private house, many people (including Ms. T. and her husband and 5 workers) were packing lemons into boxes.

Although Nghi Dien commune has repeatedly announced and widely disseminated urgent measures to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic for people to know and implement, Ms. BTT still did not comply. On August 24, the Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee signed Decisionadministrative sanctionsfor Mrs. BTT the amount of 10 million VND.

Do Luong: Summoned 2 cases of posting false information about Covid-19 epidemic.

Do Luong District Police said that the unit has just invited 02 cases to work related to posting false information about the Covid-19 epidemic in the area.

On August 21, 2021, several individuals shared content about positive cases ofCovid-19is the owner of a motel in Do Luong town, causing panic among the people. The district police have verified that the violating account owners are D.LA (born in 1983) in Van Son commune and NTH (born in 1984) in Luu Son commune.

The two subjects realized that due to their lack of knowledge and lack of research, they posted and shared false information on their personal Facebook accounts. They removed the violating content, posted corrections, and wrote a commitment not to repeat the offense.

Do Luong District Police are consolidating records and documents to propose the Provincial Police to handle administrative violations according to regulations, with fines ranging from 5-10 million VND.

As of August 23, Nghia Dan district authorities have issued administrative fines for 36 violations with a total fine of VND68 million.
