The blue sea beckons

Along with Cua Lo coastal urban area andKim Lien Special National Monument(Nam Dan) are key tourist destinations of the province, welcoming a large number of visitors every day. Other tourist areas and destinations in Nghe An have also prepared resources (personnel, facilities, food processing ingredients) to serve tourists during the holidays.

Dien Chau is a locality with great potential for tourism development, with 35 km of coastline and many beautiful beaches such as Dien Thanh, Cua Hien, Dien Hai, etc. Entering the hot season this year, localities and units have stepped up tourism promotion, upgraded hotel and motel facilities, etc. to prepare for the beach tourism season, especially during the long holidays of April 30 and May 1.

During the weekends, the number of visitors coming to swim and eat has begun to increase, and it is expected that the number of visitors will increase many times during the upcoming holidays. Ms. Tran Thi Bich, owner of a restaurant in Dien Thanh, said: "We have prepared the facilities, redecorated the space, selected skilled staff and experienced chefs to serve tourists during the holidays."

Regarding food quality, district agencies regularly check food hygiene and safety, publicly and transparently disclose service prices, creating a friendly and trustworthy environment for tourists.

Along with the coastal restaurant system, hotels have reinvested to serve tourists in the best way. With the determination to become an attractive destination in Dien Thanh beach tourist area, Dai Duong Hotel has invested nearly 100 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the infrastructure system, replace all equipment and amenities of 68 rooms, invest in additional swimming pools, event areas... to best ensure the needs of tourists.

DistrictDien Chauhas invested in building 3 beautiful beaches into sea tourism areas, including: Cua Hien, Dien Thanh and Hon Cau. Accordingly, the district has attracted investment in building 14 hotels, 52 motels with more than 200 restaurants and traffic infrastructure, electricity system, sports complex to serve the entertainment and relaxation needs of tourists.

In addition to mobilizing forces to clean the sea, Dien Chau district also signed a contract with an environmental company to periodically collect garbage along the beach, ensuring environmental sanitation.

Mr. Dao Hong Thanh - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Dien Chau district said: "This year, Dien Chau district focuses on propaganda and promotion of sea tourism, requiring restaurants and hotels to ensure public price posting. Tourist destinations are making efforts to improve service quality, build attractive products, and serve tourists during the holidays and the 2023 tourist season."

Not only in Dien Chau, the coastal tourist areas in Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu districts and Hoang Mai town have upgraded and renovated accommodation facilities, restaurants and improved service quality since the beginning of the season, meeting the increasing demands of tourists. Destinations such as Bai Lu (Nghi Loc), Quynh Bang, Quynh Nghia (Quynh Luu) and Quynh Phuong (Hoang Mai town) are also ready to serve tourists.

Cool stream waiting

In addition to coastal tourist areas and spots, mountainous districts have also prepared to welcome and serve visitors during the long holiday. Con Cuong District is a key tourist destination of the province, and up to now, tourist spots here have turned on "waiting mode" to serve visitors.

The big hotels in the district center are basically fully booked, and the homestays in Khe Ran, Xieng and Nua villages have been fully booked for several days. At the homestays, in addition to accommodation, visitors can also experience the traditional life of the Thai people, enjoy special dishes and exchange culture and arts with the locals.

Destinations such as Pha Lai Ecotourism Area and Pu Mat National Park have prepared motorboats, life jackets and life buoys to ensure the safety of visitors when exploring Giang River and experiencing the beauty of the great forest.

The Western districts have a system of clean streams, which are ideal "cooling off" spots during the hot season. On this occasion, at destinations such as Khe Co, Khe Kien (Tuong Duong), 7-storey waterfall (Que Phong), local people have organized environmental sanitation, built huts and sheds to serve the needs of tourists.

The tourist sites have been invested and expanded in scale to meet the increasing needs of tourists from near and far."

Cau Cau Tea Island in Thanh Chuong District promises to be an attractive destination for tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holiday. Currently, the tea island in the irrigation lake is green, creating a beautiful and romantic landscape. On the tea island, there are about 30 boats providing tourist transport services. The boat docks and roads to the tea islands have been decorated by the people with national flags, signs, and colorful slogans, creating an exciting atmosphere for tourists when they come to visit.

Many households around the tea island have invested in and renovated restaurants, prepared good food sources, and regional specialties to serve tourists.
