Looking forward to the nation's major holidays, the young generation sends many messages about love for the country.
(Baonghean.vn) - During the historic days of April, the country looks forward to important holidays: Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day, 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory. More than half a century has passed, those heroic images are once again recreated by the young generation with many meaningful messages.
The heroic spirit of Dien Bien Phu will forever resound
Dien Bien Phu Spirit is the name of the meeting.I Love History Clubjust gotNghe An Museumin collaboration with the Vietnam National Museum of History organized at Hoang Ta Thon Secondary School (Yen Thanh District) and Nghi Kieu Secondary School (Nghi Loc District). The duration was not long, only contained in one session, but throughout the program, the participating students experienced many special emotions.
Coming to this program, the history lessons do not stop at the numbers of events but are recreated in a more realistic and vivid way. The reenactment of historical stories with names associated with the Dien Bien Phu campaign such as A1 hill, Him Lam, Muong Thanh airport... also helps the children return to the days of digging mountains and sleeping in the forest of the Dien Bien soldiers in the past and understand more about a historic victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the earth".

With many interesting contents, participating in the club activities is probably also an unforgettable experience for the students of Hoang Ta Thon Secondary School and Nghi Kieu Secondary School. Especially because, although it is more than 300 km away from Hanoi, but coming to this program, the students were able to visit the National History Museum and were introduced to more than 200,000 artifacts and documents of Vietnamese history from prehistoric times to the present day.
During that online tour, for the first time, the children were also introduced to the exhibition space aboutDien Bien Phu Campaignand hear many stories associated with heroes such as Phan Dinh Giot, To Vinh Dien, Be Van Dan...
Another interesting content is that the children get to play the role of “insiders” when participating in games such as Following the course of history, Finding the hidden numbers and playing the role of the youth volunteer force transporting food to the Dien Bien Phu battlefield. Wearing old clothes and riding a cart through the battlefield… the history lesson has probably never been so close to the children. Experiencing the hardships, difficulties and challenges… the children admire and are even more proud of the bravery and loyalty of the youth volunteers and soldiers in the old Dien Bien Phu battlefield.

We feel very lucky that in these historic days, the school was chosen to organize the Dien Bien Hung Khi program. I think, the experiences that the program brought have brought you a lot of emotions.
Through this, not only will the students understand more about the Dien Bien Phu victory of our army and people, but they will also see the strength of solidarity and determination of the entire nation in the face of the difficult challenges of history. From there, it will arouse national pride and help today's young generation to be aware of studying, building and protecting the country.
Proud of the S-shaped strip of land
The competition has been over for more than 2 weeks but until now, the students of class 8H - Hung Dung Secondary School (Vinh City) still have not forgotten the feeling when they, together with their friends and "teammates", overcame the obstacles and planted the flag on hill A1. This victory also helped them overcome many other teams of Vinh City to win the first prize in the Robot manufacturing and programming competition with the theme "Dien Bien Victory".

Participating in the contest for the second time, student Nguyen Phuc Tuan said: "When I reached the final destination, I felt extremely happy, like the Dien Bien soldiers in the past who defeated the French empire. The contest gave us many unforgettable experiences and from participating in this contest, I learned more about the Dien Bien Phu campaign, the heroic battles of our ancestors..."

Fostering love for the homeland and understanding more about the nation’s history are meaningful lessons that students have received through many activities on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. At Ha Huy Tap Secondary School (Vinh city), the extracurricular session on Natural Sciences and Life was held in mid-April with the theme “S-shaped racetrack”.
The “race” was inspired by the movement “I love Dien Bien soldiers” requiring students to overcome many stages and use knowledge and soft skills to find treasures. The winning team will have the honor of marching to the “capital” and the final destination of this race is the whole school holding hands to form the shape of the Map of Vietnam in the joy of victory.

This is also the message of the whole school students being proud of the territorial integrity, love of country, and national pride. Also in the program are photo exhibitions and book exhibitions by students with the theme "Pride of a strip of land and rivers". The students also get to play the role of soldiers participating in the fight to protect their homeland.
Teacher Ha Le Hoa Binh - Principal of Ha Huy Tap Secondary School shared: Many people think that today's youth no longer love history, or have forgotten the sacrifices of previous generations. I think that is not true. Perhaps, today's youth have many other ways to express their love for the nation's past, for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations.

We also hope that these playgrounds not only help students review what they have learned, apply their knowledge and skills to solve problems in life, but also provide an opportunity for them to express their thoughts and feelings and show their love for this S-shaped strip of land.
That also urges them to study and practice to be worthy of the sacrifices of their ancestors, contributing to building an increasingly rich and developed country.
