Korean artists will perform many special shows at Vinh city walking street.

The program is one of the events in a series of cooperation and cultural diplomacy events between Gwangju city and Nghe An province, which is of great significance in contributing to the cultural and artistic connection between Nghe An province and Gwangju city in particular and the two countries of Vietnam and Korea in general.

At the program, artists from the Asian Performing Arts Institute, Gwangju City (Korea) and artists from the Nghe An Province Traditional Arts Center will perform unique and attractive performances, promising to bring a night of music full of sublimation of emotions.

Specifically, artists from the Asian Institute of Performing Arts will perform the following works:“I could have danced all night”(The song is from the famous musical My Fair Lady, released in 1956, about how linguistics professor Henry Higgins trained poor girl Eliza Doolittle, from a rude girl to a person who speaks standard English like the nobility);Disney movie Favorites(incorporates familiar tunes from some of Disney's classic animated and cinematic works);“Pirates of the Caribbean”- Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.

Artists from Korea also performed works:“Alte Kameraden swing”(the song was composed around 1889 by a German military musician Carl Teike);“Sing, sing, sing”(a song with a typical swing jazz melody, composed in 1936 by American trumpeter Louis Prima);“Arirang Fantasy”(The song has a strong Arirang folk melody - an intangible cultural heritage of Korea).

In addition, artists from the Asian Performing Arts Institute will collaborate with artists from the Nghe An Traditional Arts Center to perform the following songs:“Light, Water and Arirang Song”(The song is based on the sound and melody of Ariang - a typical Korean folk song combined with the lyrical song "Floating Water Fern" - a typical Vietnamese folk song);“Butter”(the famous song of the group BTS that once caused a fever all over the world).

At the program, between the art performances were exchanges between the artists and the audience of Vinh city.

Gwangju is the 6th largest city in South Korea, known as the city of light, and has always been considered a special light of Korea, with many unique features that no other city can match. In particular, Gwangju is also famous as the land of music, home to many famous idols such as: J-Hope (BTS), Yunho (TVXQ), Suzy, ... and this is also the land of traditional pansori dances or talented artists and conductors.
