Isolation to prevent and control the epidemic but not to isolate tasks
(Baonghean.vn) - Having contact with F0 while performing Covid-19 prevention and control tasks, about 50% of the staff of Hong Son Ward (Vinh City) had to be quarantined. In the centralized quarantine area, they continued to manage the epidemic prevention work in the area.

Mid-August, the areaHong Son ward(Vinh City) continuously recorded many positive cases of Covid-19. Because in the ward there is Vinh wholesale market - the largest and most complicated epidemic area, not to mention next to it is Vinh market and many large commercial centers leading to a very high risk of spreading and outbreak of the disease.
Most blocks in the ward have positive cases.Covid-19, the epidemic prevention and control forces had to work hard, regardless of day or night. While on duty, one person was infected with Covid-19, causing more than 20 people in the epidemic prevention and control force, including leaders and sectors and organizations, to be quarantined at the ward's kindergarten.

“Due to contact with F0, I myself had to quarantine with my colleagues in the agency. Right from the moment we entered the quarantine area, we directed everyone to continue performing their duties in every way possible to share the burden and pressure with comrades and teammates outside.”
Taking advantage of and promoting the strengths of information technology and social networks, the cadres, civil servants and public employees of Hong Son ward, despite being quarantined, still participated in the fight against the epidemic quite effectively. Through Facebook and Zalo groups, members of the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control directed the Executive Committee and the Covid-19 Community Monitoring Team of all blocks to implement the policies and plans of leaders at all levels.
Specifically as implementedrapid testfor the entire population to screen and separate F0 from the community; trace epidemiologically related cases; patrol and guard at quarantine checkpoints; propagate to raise awareness of disease prevention and control for all classes of people. Especially the provision and support for people to buy food and provisions during the days of implementing "Wherever you are, stay there".

During the days of implementing the policy of isolation and blockade to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic, many people in Hong Son ward were truly grateful to receive support from the "Blue Shirt Shipper Team". But few people know that the team members operate under the direction of "leaders" who are in the quarantine area.

Because, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union Mai Quynh Trang and Deputy Secretary of the Ward Youth Union Pham To Uyen are also being quarantined. “The work is really stressful and pressured, but thinking of our comrades and teammates outside who are working hard to fight the epidemic and the people who are in need and facing difficulties, we tried our best, there were days when we processed nearly 200 orders. The greatest joy is when we receive words of thanks and encouragement from the people, that is the motivation to work tirelessly” – Ms. Mai Quynh Trang shared.

Besides processing orders, the two female "leaders" of the Hong Son Ward Youth Union also direct the union members to support the army and ward leaders in deploying "0 VND booth" to help local people. At the same time, together with the Party Committee, the government and organizations, mobilize units, organizations and individuals with goodwill to support money and necessities for families in especially difficult circumstances.
