Having no job and being addicted to drugs, Chung invited Danh to carry out "missions" with him. They chose the early morning time every day. The two of them made an appointment to discuss and then used motorbikes to travel on the streets of Vinh City, checking unattended cars, using hammers to break the windshields and then stealing handbags and other property in the cars.

In addition to breaking car windows to steal property, the subjects also look for houses that are not properly closed to break in and steal property.
