(Baonghean.vn) - During the process of renovating the church grounds, the parishioners of Luu My parish, Tru Son commune, Do Luong district still preserved the clay pine tree. After 3 Christmas seasons, this special pine tree is still fresh, with the pink color of Tru's clay pot.

This Christmas tree made from 6,000 clay pots was designed by Luu My parish to welcome Christmas 2017 and was recognized as a record.GuinnessVietnam. A year later, it was transformed into a giant windmill called "the great windmill". This Christmas, due to the construction and renovation of the church, the "great windmill" was moved from the village road into the church grounds, nearly 30 meters away from its original location.
These days, the construction team is moving and reassembling the structure. All the pots on the windmill have been removed, the iron frame has been shortened and the process of covering the pots and connecting the lights has begun as before.
The giant windmill that was 27 meters high last year is now only 17 meters tall, the area of the iron frame on the bottom has also shrunk with each square side being 3.7 meters long. On top of the clay pot pine tree is still attached a 4-pointed star.
With a "modest" size compared to last year's pine tree - windmill, the number of pots used to cover this year's pine tree is expected to be only more than half.
Inside the construction site, the pine tree is covered with iron, steel, and wooden scaffolding for moving around and transporting materials and accessories.
Having been working for over a week now, with a spirit of urgency, the workers here hope to complete the reconstruction of the "pot village symbol" before Christmas.
The clay pots are hung on steel hooks, arranged in rows very firmly. Between the pots are light bulbs to illuminate the construction at night.
After 3 Christmas seasons, the clay pot pine tree of Luu My parish has changed shape several times, but is still fresh, with the pink color of Tru land.
Working on the clay pot pine tree, the workers must not only be skilled but also skillful, not afraid of heights. When assembling the pine tree, there are usually 4-5 people working together.
Father Hoang Trung Hoa, parish priest of Luu My, said that this year the parish was busy constructing structures in the church grounds, so there were almost no Christmas decorations. However, moving and completing the process of rebuilding the clay pot pine tree is a necessary task to preserve the "symbol of the pot village" for a long time. Tonight, the clay pot pine tree will shine brightly like previous years to join the joy of the parishioners of Luu My in a peaceful Christmas season.
