(Baonghean.vn) - At around 0:00 on February 14, the working group of Ky Son District Police inspected the Tien Loan passenger bus, running on the Muong Xen - Vinh route, and discovered a subject taking a group of children under 16 years old to work illegally.

Specifically, at the above time, the authorities discovered on the passenger bus 5 children of the Khmu ethnic group, including: Xeo Van Dung (born 2007), Moong Van Di (born 2004), Luong Van Kham (born 2005), Ven Van Luu (born 2008) and Pit Van Pen (born 2007), all of whom were under 16 years old and living in Khe Linh village, Keng Du border commune, Ky Son.

The person who took the children away was Vu Thi Hien (born in 1985), residing in Hung Binh A ward, Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh city. At the investigation agency, Hien confessed that she recruited the children to work for her family, with a salary of 1.5 million VND/month.
Currently, Ky Son District Police are completing the case file for handling according to the provisions of law.
Upon receiving the information, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ky Son district supported 1 million VND for transportation to return the children to their families and local authorities for education.
