(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 15, in Cong Hoa village, Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu), a tragic drowning incident occurred, causing the death of a child over 2 years old.
Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on June 15, Le Xuan Manh (over 2 years old) while walking on the sea dike in Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu) unfortunately slipped and fell into the sea.

Ms. Pham Thi Hai, Manh's mother, went out to look for her son but could not find him so she called for everyone to search. A while later, people discovered Manh's body floating on the water. The child was pulled out for emergency treatment but had already died.
Immediately after the incident, local authorities and commune police were present at the scene to make a record and determine the cause of the incident.
It is known that about 4 years ago, Le Xuan Manh's older brother also drowned in the sea of Quynh Long commune.
Previously, at noon on June 15, Nguyen Duy Phu (9 years old) and Nguyen Van Cuong (9 years old), both living in Yen Xuan village, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district, went swimming in the Ro river when Phu drowned. People immediately rushed to save him but Phu died.
