On the afternoon of July 6, the Party Cell of Literature - Publishing - Mountainous Areas held a congress for the 2017 - 2020 term.

Attending the congress were comrade Tran Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; comrade Dau Van Thanh - Party Committee member, Chief of Office of Nghe An Newspaper.

Currently, the Party cell has 14 party members, of which 4 comrades have advanced political theory qualifications; 3 comrades are studying advanced political theory; 100% of party members have university degrees; 1 comrade is studying abroad.

In the 2015-2017 term, the Party cell of Literature - Publishing - Mountainous Areas overcame difficulties, performed well in leading the implementation of political tasks, and achieved many remarkable results.

The Party cell has participated in developing the Party Committee's work programs and policies and measures to build a clean and strong Party cell by regularly checking and reminding cadres and Party members in the Party cell to always uphold the exemplary leadership and pioneering spirit in all work.

In professional work, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Party cell has thoroughly instructed Party members to closely follow the specific content of each professional department to deploy many topics and subjects for Party members and reporters.

The Department of Culture and Society innovates the content of daily newspapers; expands the network of collaborators; participates in many hot topics with quality such as National Highway 1A Liberation, Health Insurance Fund Deficit; Inadequacies in the VNEN New School program; Teacher rotation and recruitment issues; Job scams; Labor export issues in Korea; participates in grasping the religious situation in the province...

The Weekend Mountainous Region Department is primarily responsible for the content of the Weekend issue and the DTMN special page. The department ensures the quality of the assigned special pages and columns. Reporters and contributors actively go to the grassroots, especially in mountainous and remote areas, to get many quality articles and photos.

The Distribution - Social Work Department is in charge of Distribution - Advertising and Social Activities. In the first 6 months of 2017, the circulation reached 16,233 copies/issue; weekend newspapers 16,058 copies/issue; Striving to reach 17,000 copies/issue by the end of 2017. The number of individual newspapers ordered by customers (from the beginning of the year to June 28, 2017) is 13,732 copies.

In 2016, the Party cell had 4 individuals winning provincial journalism awards, 3 individuals winning Cua Lo journalism awards; 4 individuals winning population journalism awards; 3 individuals winning "Golden Moment" awards, 5 individuals winning journalism awards for writing about the health sector, 3 individuals winning journalism awards for writing about traffic... A total of 22 awards, exceeding the target set by the congress.

At the congress, party members contributed papers on solutions to enhance the leadership role of party cells in carrying out political tasks and building the Party, such as: improving the quality of publishing work; training and educating young party members; taking party members as the core to spread the innovation of journalism style.

The Congress also agreed that in the coming term, we will strive to achieve a strong and clean Party cell every year; 100% of qualified party members will complete their tasks well, of which at least 15% will complete their tasks excellently; admit 2-3 new party members; annually have 3-5 works win provincial press awards and strive to have reporters win national press awards.

The leaders of the 3 professional departments performed well the political tasks of the agency, focusing on improving the quality of the 2 printed and electronic publications. Directed the improvement of professional quality in articles and publications, actively innovated columns; increased self-equipment of equipment in the reporter department, grasped modern methods and techniques of journalism.

Promote distribution, cover all points according to instructions, research to distribute individual newspapers to the market through businesses, restaurants, hotels, etc. Maintain stable circulation of over 16,000 copies/issue, strive to reach 17,000 copies/issue.
