In the 2019-2020 school year, Anh Son 1 High School completed its tasks well, with 9 teachers achieving the title of excellent teachers at the provincial level; 6 teachers achieving the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level; 12 teachers having excellent achievements in teaching and highly effective graduation exam preparation;

Also in the school year, 97% of students achieved good and fair conduct, 311 students achieved the title of comprehensive excellent student, 780 students achieved the title of advanced student. The school's history continues to be recorded with new achievements: 6 students won prizes in the provincial excellent student exam in physical education - and the science and technology innovation competition.

Notably, in the 2020 high school graduation exam, 419/421 students passed the graduation exam (99.7%); 225 exams scored 9 or higher; 4 exams scored 10, especially Nguyen Duc Anh Quan, class 12T1, scored 29.40 points in block B; Pham Ngoc Thang, class 12T2, scored 28.55 points in block A; Tran Thi Thanh Hien, scored 28 points in block C; Le Thi Hang, class 12D1, scored 27.25 points in block D...; 30 grade 12 students with excellent scores were commended by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Anh Son district at the Closing Ceremony of the 2019-2020 school year.

At the opening ceremony,Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha -Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command presented flower baskets from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the school and gave gifts to the school's students.

On this occasion, many groups and individuals in the area also gave many meaningful gifts to students who overcame difficulties and achieved many achievements in the past school year.
