Details of 223 hamlets of Nghia Dan will complete the merger before October 30, 2019

Nghia Dan District People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement Resolution No. 08/NQ-HDND of Nghe An Provincial People's Council on merging and renaming hamlets and blocks in Nghia Dan district.

Accordingly, the organization consolidation, personnel arrangement and assignment must be completed before October 20, 2019, by the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of communes and towns to review personnel to select and recommend for election to the positions of Secretary, Hamlet Chief, and Head of the Front Work Committee of hamlet blocks.

The People's Committees of communes and towns shall review the facilities to have a reasonable use plan, suitable to the actual conditions of each locality, to serve community activities and stabilize people's lives. The completion time is before October 20, 2019.

The announcement of the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council, officially putting the new block and hamlet into operation can be organized for all blocks and hamlets in the commune or organized separately for each block and hamlet to ensure solemnity and economy. The announcement must be completed before October 30, 2019. The date of announcement of the decision is also the official date of putting the new block and hamlet into operation.

Nghia Dan district currently has 310 hamlets, but only 1 hamlet meets 100% of the criteria, 101 hamlets meet from 50% to less than 10% of the criteria, and 208 hamlets meet less than 50% of the population criteria and must be merged.

According to the plan approved by the Provincial People's Council, Nghia Dan will merge 223 hamlets, resulting in 102 hamlets formed after the merger. Thus, after the merger, Nghia Dan will reduce 121 hamlets, leaving the entire district with 189 hamlets.
