Details of 25 key projects called for investment by Vinh City People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City People's Committee has just announced a list of 25 key investment projects calling for investors to develop the city.

These projects belong to 6 fields including: Infrastructure - urban beautification, tourism, culture - sports, economy, real estate and agriculture.

INFRASTRUCTURE - URBAN RENOVATION

1. Project to underground the overhead power line system of main roads in Vinh city

- Scale: Urban routes (priority for 31 main routes initially)
- Current status: Most are hanging on poles, posing a potential safety risk, affecting urban aesthetics; difficult to manage and renovate.
- Total expected investment: 1,000 billion VND.

2. Project to renovate the green tree system on main roads of Vinh city

- Scale: 31 main streets
- Current status: Trees planted without planning, many types of trees are not suitable for urban trees, many trees are tilted and warped.
- Total expected investment: 150 billion VND.

3. Project to upgrade the public lighting system of Vinh city

- Scale: About 30 routes
- Current status: Old lighting system (concrete columns, fluorescent lamps, halogen...)
- Total estimated investment: 250 billion VND.

4. Investment project to build an overpass directly connecting the intersection between National Highway 1A (Mai Hac De - Nguyen Trai) and 72m road

- Location: Intersection between Nguyen Truong To Street and North-South Railway (in Quan Bau and Ha Huy Tap wards);
- Scale: Prestressed reinforced concrete overpass; 4 lanes for motor vehicles.
- Total expected investment: 400 billion VND

5. Investment project to build public transport routes connecting Vinh - Quan Hanh (Nghi Loc) - Cua Lo

- Location: Vinh City, Quan Hanh Town, Cua Lo Town;
- Scale: BRT bus route
+ Hung Nguyen - Vinh - Cua Lo axis (Hung Tay - Vinh - Cua Lo road): is the route connecting the high-speed railway station (Hung Nguyen) with Vinh and Cua Lo, 17.7km long
- North-South axis: Connecting Vinh market - Vinh airport - Quan Hanh - Economic zone (National Highway 1A); 16.7km long;

- Vinh City Central Ring Road: Connecting key points of Vinh City center (Vinh Airport, Vinh Station, Vinh Market, Ho Chi Minh Square, Lenin Street); 15.5km long
- Total expected investment: 3,200 billion VND

6. Project for sustainable urban development and climate change adaptation in Vinh city

- Location: Vinh City;
- Current status: The traffic and drainage system was built over many periods and has degraded; connections are not synchronized; the scale does not ensure adaptation to climate change.
- Investment categories:
+ Renovate and build new sewer lines in the Hong Bang canal drainage basin (about 6 km).
+ Renovate and build new sewer lines in drainage basin of ditch No. 2 (about 8km).
+ Constructing a number of new sewer lines in the drainage basin of ditch No. 1 (about 4km).
+ Renovate and build new sewer lines in the drainage basin of the Moat around the ancient citadel and Cua Nam Lake (about 4km).
+ Upgrading Hung Hoa Wastewater Treatment Plant
+ Construction of Le Mao road extension from Vinh river section - Vinh bypass;
+ Renovating Vinh River; building a regulating lake and pumping station at the end of Rao Dung River.
- Total expected investment: 160 million USD

7. Project to build landscape lighting system, art lighting system of Vinh city

- Location: Vinh City (main urban roads).
- Scale: About 15 routes.
- Total expected investment: 200 billion VND

TOURISM SECTOR

8. Quyet Mountain Forest Park Tourist Area Project

- Location: Belonging to the national relic and scenic complex of Quyet Mountain Forest Park and Phuong Hoang Trung Do area (Trung Do ward, Vinh city).
- Area: 147.70 ha
- Current land use status: Quyet Mountain (53ha), production and business land (6.9ha), enterprise headquarters land (5.5ha), production and business land (6.9ha), current residential land (5.3ha), vacant land, not yet exploited or used (70.1ha).
- Implementation items: According to the approved detailed planning of Quyet Mountain and Phuong Hoang Trung Do tourist area: It is a tourist area with a system of cultural, historical, entertainment and commercial service works of Vinh city, including:
+ Reception area, war relics park
+ Entertainment service area
+ Natural landscape ecological area
+ Historical cultural park area
+ Buddhist construction planning area.
+ Restoring the relic of the Royal Citadel of Phoenix Trung Do.
- Total expected investment: 600 billion VND.

9. Lam River tourism project

- Location: Trung Do and Ben Thuy wards, Hung Hoa commune - Vinh city (along Lam river through Vinh city).
- Area: About 100 hectares; including the area on both sides of Vinh bypass from Ong Hoang Muoi temple to the end of Ban forest, Hung Hoa commune (not including Lam Vien area, Quyet mountain).
- Implementation items: This is a key tourist route in the South of the city, including:
+ Hotels, motels, villas, health care services...
+ System of restaurants, local culinary culture centers, combined with tourism, cruises (introducing specialties, Nghe An folk culture, ca tru, fabric guilds...).
+ Boat dock system serving tourism;
+ Cable car across the river.
+ Hung Hoa Mangrove Forest and Bird Sanctuary Nature Reserve.
+ Exhibition house for ornamental plants, birds...
+ Connected to the entertainment and sports park of Hung Hoa commune (about 150ha).
- Current land use status: Riverbank land (not yet exploited effectively); some areas are being studied for detailed planning at 1/500 scale.
- Total expected investment: 1,500 billion VND

CULTURE - SPORTS FIELD

10. Regional Sports Center Project

- Location: Located in Cua Lo town area (both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue);
- Area: 79ha;
- Current land use status: Agricultural land;
- Implementation items: Central stadium, central square and green trees, multi-purpose gymnasium, water sports gymnasium, athletics training house, sailing training area, outdoor sports area, administration and management house, exhibition and fair center, football training ground...
- Total expected investment: 500 billion VND.

11. Vinh Citadel Park Project

- Location: Nghe An Citadel belongs to the administrative boundaries of 3 wards: Cua Nam, Doi Cung and Quang Trung, Vinh City; North borders: Road and residential area of ​​Doi Cung ward, South borders road and residential area of ​​Cua Nam ward, East borders road and residential area of ​​Quang Trung ward, West borders road and residential area of ​​Cua Nam ward.
- Land use area: About 40 hectares.
- Current land use status: Ancient Citadel Gate, Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum, Nghe An Museum, Vinh Stadium, existing residential area...
- Implementation items (according to 1/500 construction planning):
+ Vinh Citadel: Three gates (Front Gate, Left Gate, Right Gate; have been restored and embellished).
+ Sculpture garden north of Dao Tan street.
+ Uncle Ho memorial area, square, playground, youth camping area.
+ Sports area associated with cultural and entertainment services, arranged in conjunction with the current football field.
+ Sports training and competition area.
+ Renovate residential areas into walking streets for shopping, entertainment, culture, art, and cuisine.
+ Upgrade and exploit museums.
+ Green area, other services
- Total expected investment: 1,000 billion VND.

12. Project of the Recreational Park of the Air Conditioning Lake in Hung Loc Commune, Hung Hoa

- Location: Belonging to the boundaries of Hung Loc and Hung Hoa communes, Vinh city. Northeast borders: Rao Dung River; Southwest borders Nguyen Sy Sach extended road; Southeast borders high-tech industrial park and new residential area of ​​Hung Hoa commune; Northwest borders the eastern boundary road, Vinh city.
- Land use area: 150 hectares.
- Current land use status: Agricultural land.
- Implementation items:
+ Playground, sports and recreational activities related to water (boating, swimming...)
+ Water park, thrill rides.
+ Commercial and service support buildings (restaurants, hotels...).
+ Air conditioning lake.
- Total expected investment: 1,000 billion VND.

13. Amusement and Sports Park Project in Hung Hoa Commune

- Location: Belonging to the boundary of Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city. North borders: Nguyen Sy Sach extended road; West borders 30m planned road, Hung Hoa commune; East borders the project of Viet Lao HTKT Corporation; South borders the existing residential area.
- Land use area: 150 hectares.
- Current land use status: Agricultural land.
- Implementation items:
+ Playground, sports and recreational activities related to water (boating, swimming...)
+ Amusement park.
+ Commercial and service support area
+ Sports area
- Total expected investment: 1,000 billion VND.

ECONOMIC FIELD:

14. Project of Construction, Business and Management of Vinh Market, Hong Son Ward

- Location: Hong Son Ward; North borders Le Hong Son Street (21m); West borders planned road (15m); East borders Le Huan Street (15m) and South borders Tran Dang Ninh Street (15m).
- Area: 68,900 m2.
- Current land use status: Currently used for market land purposes (Vinh market);
- Implementation items (according to approved detailed planning):
+ Main hall, 3 floors high, construction area 9,000 m2;
+ West communal house, including 9 communal houses, 1 floor high, construction area: 7,975 m2;
+ Eastern communal house, including 4 communal houses, 1 floor high, construction area: 3,725 m2;
+ Parking lot, 1 floor high, construction area: 370 m2;
+ Garbage collection site, construction area: 110.0 m2.
- Total estimated investment: About 250 billion VND.

15. Project to build a High-tech Park in Hung Hoa commune

- Location: South of the Lake, Hung Hoa Commune, Vinh City.
- Area: 21.6 hectares.
- Current land use status: Agricultural land.
- Expected items to be implemented:

- Location: VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, Nam Cam;
- Status: Completed technical infrastructure.
- Scale: 10,000 products/year.
- Total investment: 200 billion

18. Pharmaceutical factory

- Location: VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, Nam Cam;
- Status: Completed technical infrastructure.
- Scale: 500 million products/year.
- Total investment: 200 billion VND

19. Factory for processing bio-fertilizer from household waste

- Location: Centralized waste treatment area in Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc;
- Current status: Completed technical infrastructure connection.
- Scale: 3,000 ÷ 5,000 tons/year.
- Total investment: 100 billion VND

20. Project to build a new urban area in Nghi Duc commune, Nghi An

- Location: Nghi Duc Commune, Nghi An, Vinh City (both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard)
