Among them, the class with the largest number of applications is the English major class with 474 applications.

Next is the Literature class with 234 applications, the Math class with 232 applications, the Chemistry class with 151 applications, the Physics class with 134 applications, the Biology class with 97 applications and the Information Technology class with 80 applications.

This year, according to the plan of Vinh University High School for the Gifted, each specialized class will take 1 class with the prescribed number of 35 students. For the English specialized class, the school will enroll 2 classes. In addition, the school will enroll 4 high-quality specialized classes.

Also according to Vinh University, up to this point, the school has received 108 applications for direct admission to the school. It is expected that, according to this year's plan, the school will only accept 20% of the direct admission target (with 80 students). Students admitted directly are those who won second prize (for group A) and first prize (for group B) in the provincial-level 9th ​​grade excellent student selection exam, the subject won is the same as the registered specialized subject.
