On the afternoon of March 17, Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: In the past 12 hours (from 06:00 to 18:00 on March 17, 2022),Nghe Annoted6,095 new positive caseswith Covid-19. Including1,395 community cases; 4,700 cases were quarantined before (4,697 cases were F1, 3 cases came from other provinces with epidemic).

Localities with the highest number of patients in the past 12 hours: Vinh City, Dien Chau, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Quynh Luu... The number of deaths in the past 12 hours is 2 patients (2 patients over 70 years old and with underlying diseases).

Thus, in the past 24 hours, Nghe An recorded 9,968 new Covid-19 cases, including 2,479 community cases; 3 patients died from Covid-19.

Accumulated from the beginning of the epidemic until now, the province has recorded322,160 Covid-19 cases.Cumulative number of patients who have recovered and been discharged from hospital: 241,048 patients. Cumulative number of deaths: 151 patients. Number of patients currently being treated: 80,961 patients.
