After Nghi Phu commune, on October 25, on Nguyen Canh Hoan street (Quan Bau ward), a similar theft also occurred. However, while removing the tire, the thief was discovered and ran away, leaving behind a set of jack tools and the tire with all the screws removed. Then, on the evening of October 26, in Dong Vinh ward (Vinh city), a tire theft also occurred. When a Mazda CX5 was left outside overnight, all four wheels were stolen.
The theft of car wheels is not a new phenomenon. Previously, on the night of May 25, a person in residential group 6, Quan Bau ward parked his 5-seat Hyundai i10 car outdoors. In the morning, the car owner was shocked to discover that all 4 wheels had disappeared. At the scene, the thief used bricks and stones to lift the wheels off the ground, before using tools to remove the wheels.
