Local authorities need to coordinate with management units to handle violations of traffic safety corridors.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the opinion of comrade Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee for localities after inspecting and examining violations of traffic safety corridors in Quynh Luu district.
On November 14, the provincial interdisciplinary delegation to inspect the work of clearing violations and preventing re-encroachment of road and railway traffic safety corridors, led by comrade Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, conducted a field inspection in Quynh Luu district.

According to the report of the Traffic Safety Committee of Quynh Luu district, the organization and implementation of the work of clearing violations of the corridor and preventing re-encroachment of the traffic safety corridor has been paid attention to by the Party Committee, the government, departments, branches, organizations and people of all walks of life, and has been directed and implemented resolutely with many measures and solutions. Since the beginning of the year, 370.4m2 has been cleared.2kiosk, 479m2 roof (mainly made of corrugated iron, canvas, umbrella...), 83m2 steps, seized 476 billboards, cleaned up more than 7,500m3soil, rocks, and all kinds of waste. More than 1,000 business households have been requested to move goods and items such as (motorbikes, bicycles, gas cylinders, umbrellas, billboards, construction materials, items for sale...) out of the traffic safety corridor.
The People's Committees of communes and towns have organized inspections, reviews and identified violations of clearance, and signed commitments with over 2,350 households not to encroach on traffic safety corridors on key routes such as National Highways 1, 48, 48B, Provincial Road 537B...

However, through the inspection of the working group, there are still violations of traffic safety. In Son Hai commune, families on both sides of Son Hai bridge violated the road infrastructure, affecting the traffic safety corridor. At Km 4+500 to 4+800, people poured concrete to make steps up and down, narrowing the roadway, and the roof encroached on the traffic corridor.

In Quynh Ngoc commune, right in front of the commune People's Committee, families encroached on road land by building temporary structures. Markets took place right in the middle of the road, while there were many vehicles circulating, posing a potential risk of traffic accidents. Garbage collection sites were also located within the road corridor. At Km6+800, sand and gravel businesses encroached on and destroyed the road structure. At Km5+600, some households built walls on the outer edge of the longitudinal ditch, violating road land, affecting traffic safety. The situation of pouring concrete to make steps up and down narrows the roadway, and there are still many shelters.

In Quynh Van commune, specifically at Km 397+500 to 398+500, the situation of erecting signs, canopies, gathering materials (at households making dashboard bricks)... encroaching on road land, causing the drainage ditch to collapse.
Based on the actual inspection, the Working Group requested the District Traffic Safety Committee to closely follow the instructions to seriously implement and create real changes. For the communes that were inspected, the Group also had specific requirements. For Son Hai commune, it is required that all violations must be completely resolved before December 15, 2023.
For Quynh Ngoc commune, the documents and plans have not stated what the basis or topic is. The commune needs to coordinate with the management unit to handle violations. Direct the commune police force to handle violations according to the authority of the commune police, and have a record of the violation handling to have a basis in case of re-offending.

In Quynh Van commune, the issuance of documents was timely but the handling was not complete, so it is necessary to count the violations and coordinate with the management unit on the route to handle them. For violations, it is necessary to make a record of administrative violations to have a basis for clearance and enforcement later...
