According to the reporter's records, from early morning, many traders returned to the market after a long break due to the epidemic to prepare kiosks and display goods. Most of the people were happy and excited to be back to business.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, a trader at Vinh wholesale market, said: "The past 2 months of closure due to the epidemic have greatly affected the lives and incomes of traders. Therefore, now everyone understands the dangers of the epidemic, so when the market reopens, everyone strictly follows the epidemic prevention regulations to have stable and long-term business...".

Accordingly, to better control people entering and exiting the market, the wholesale market only opens 3/8 entrance gates and all have full security guards on duty. People entering to buy goods must take epidemic prevention measures such as medical declaration, body temperature measurement, disinfection... For traders and people working at the market, in addition to fully implementing the above measures, they must also present a valid negative test certificate and a certificate of having received at least 1 dose of vaccine.Covid-19.On the morning of November 2, the market also organized rapid testing for traders right at the market.
However, according to the reporter's observation, the number of traders entering the market on the first day was still quite small, about 40%, many kiosks were still closed.
Explaining this issue, Mr. Thai Ba Nghia - Representative of Vinh wholesale market management board said: "Currently, all traders have received notice that the market is reopening, however, some households have not yet arranged their work or have not finished repairing their kiosks, so they are still closed. Besides, the main reason is that currently, many traders of the market, although having received the notice, do not go to the market to do business but instead do business everywhere on the streets around the market such as Le Hong Son, Ho Xuan Huong, Nguyen Cong Tru...".

According to research, the rampant trading around the market appeared from the time the wholesale market closed and became a habit of many traders. This not only spoiled the urban beauty, polluted the environment, caused traffic congestion, but also posed a risk of an outbreak when the forces could not check and monitor all of these traders. When seeing the authorities, many traders took their goods and ran away.
Therefore, it is inevitable that traders must go to the market to both control the epidemic situation and ensure the landscape and environment.
Discussing this issue, the leaderVinh Citysaid that he will direct Hong Son, Cua Nam, Vinh Tan wards, market management boards and forces to eliminate rampant trading outside the market area in the coming days.
