Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy had lunch with garment factory workers
(Baonghean.vn) - After visiting and listening to the production report of Minh Anh Garment Joint Stock Company - Do Luong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy went to the cafeteria to have lunch with the workers.
The garment factory of Minh Anh - Do Luong Garment Joint Stock Company is located in Quang Son commune. This is a factory that produces garment products for export to European and American countries with a total investment of 250 billion VND.

Put into operation since April 2018 and until the end of the year, the factory has produced 5.9 million products, bringing in revenue of 142.7 billion VND, contributing 2.7 billion VND to the budget; creating jobs for 2,300 workers with an average income of 4.7 million VND/person/month.
In 2019, the factory is expected to produce 12 million products, with revenue of 300 billion VND, contribute 8 billion VND to the budget; create jobs for 4,500 workers with an income of 6 million VND/person/month.

After visiting the factory's production departments, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited the factory's canteen and kitchen. Acknowledging the company's concern, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy asked the company's leaders to continue to implement food safety and hygiene well.
At lunchtime for factory workers, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy went to many tables to chat and ask workers about their lives and the company's food rations.

Next, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the working delegation had lunch at the cafeteria with the same meals as the factory workers.
Previously, at the meeting with the leaders of Minh Anh - Do Luong Garment Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy agreed with the proposals on surveying and selecting locations to plan the projects of the Minh Anh - Do Luong Garment Factory expansion project, building works to serve the material and spiritual life of officers and employees; surveying and selecting locations to plan the construction of Minh Anh - Do Luong Laundry Factory, serving export goods.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that Do Luong district and the company closely coordinate to take steps to soon implement the projects; at the same time, pay attention to ensuring security and order because of the large scale of labor; and carry out environmental sanitation well.
