Nghe An police arrested 03 subjects, seized nearly 4,000 synthetic drug pills

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation on National Highway 7 and National Highway 48, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department discovered that Ho Minh Truyen (born in 1979), residing in Nghia Hoan commune, Tan Ky district, was the mastermind, leader, and liaison with the following subjects: Lo Van Viet (born in 1996), residing in Nghia Thai commune, Tan Ky district and Lo Xuan Vinh (born in 1983), residing in Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district, forming a drug trafficking and illegal transportation ring from Quy Chau district to Tan Ky district and neighboring districts for consumption.

All three subjects are drug addicts, often taking advantage of the dark night and deep forests to deliver drugs and pay money. Notably, these subjects always carry weapons, ready to fight back when discovered by the police.

After a period of monitoring and synchronous use of professional measures, at around 0:30 a.m. on July 18, 2024, at Na An village, Chau Thanh commune, Quy Hop district, the working group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Provincial Police) and Quy Chau District Police divided into many groups to simultaneously arrest 03 subjects including: Ho Minh Truyen, Lo Van Viet and Lo Xuan Vinh, seizing 3,650 synthetic drug pills, 80 grams of heroin and 05 knives and swords of various types.
