Thai Hoa Town Police: 2nd Party Congress

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 16, 2015, the Thai Hoa Town Police Party Committee held its second Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term. This is the first unit of the armed forces in Thai Hoa Town to hold a congress and was chosen by the Town Party Committee as a model congress.

Attending and directing the congress were comrades: Tran Van Hong, Deputy Head of the Party Organization Department, Provincial Party Committee Organization Board; Le Tien Tri - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee and 28 delegates representing 8 Party cells in the entire Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Dao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented a political report at the congress.

Overview of the conference

During the 2010-2015 term, the Town Police Party Committee focused on leading and directing the work of protecting national security with the goal of maintaining political and social stability; effectively combating crimes that violate social order: establishing and breaking 15 special projects, investigating and clarifying 248/275 criminal cases, handling 442 defendants, confiscating 3.1 billion VND in money and assets; destroying 13 gambling dens, arresting and handling 189 cases, 747 gamblers; breaking 15 special criminal projects, destroying 1 drug trafficking line, 21 drug retail points. Synchronously deploying preventive measures, effectively combating all types of crimes and law violations. Proactively controlling and combating drugs. Traffic accidents were controlled, contributing to stabilizing social order, promoting local socio-economic development.

The Party building work has achieved many important results, the entire Party Committee is united, the unit's leadership has performed well all assigned tasks. During the term, 25 new Party members were admitted, exceeding the set target by 25%. Every year, 100% of Party cells are awarded the title "Clean and Strong", 100% of Party members are qualified to complete their tasks excellently. Of which, 1 Party cell and 1 Party member were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Party Committee, 3 Party cells and 9 Party members were awarded by the City Party Committee.

The Party Congress set out the goals and tasks for the second term (2015-2020), which are to ensure good security in the fields of ethnicity, religion, culture, ideology, economy, etc., to minimize crime and traffic accidents. Promote the emulation movement for national security, "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", implement the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho, thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directives and resolutions of the Party and the industry on cadres in accordance with the principles.

The 2nd Congress of the Thai Hoa Town Police Party Committee (term 2015-2020) elected 9 comrades to the Executive Committee and 5 delegates to attend the 2nd Thai Hoa Town Party Congress.
