Vinh City Police received reward after breaking 2 major drug cases

On the morning of April 2, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police congratulated the Special Task Force 218M and 318D and the officers of Vinh City Police for successfully breaking up a case of illegal drug trafficking and transportation in large quantities, arresting 3 subjects, seizing 8kg of crystal meth and 18,000 MTTH pills.

Previously, at 7:00 p.m. on March 29, in the Cua Rao 2 village area, Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, Vinh City Police coordinated with a number of related professional units to arrest two subjects Le Van Anh (born in 1978), residing in Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district, and Bui Trung Ta (born in 1975), residing in Phuc Tho district, Hanoi, for illegally buying and selling drugs.

The seized evidence was 6kg of crystal meth, 1 car, 400 USD and 7 million VND in cash.

On the same day, at 8:00 p.m., in Lau village, Thach Giam commune, Tuong Duong district, Vinh City Police also discovered and caught red-handed Xong Ba Re (born in 1989), residing in Ca Gioi village, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district, illegally buying and selling drugs. The seized evidence included 18,000 synthetic drug pills and 2kg of crystal meth.

These are particularly outstanding achievements of Vinh City Police in contributing to the fight against and eradication of a dangerous drug ring that has existed for many years, run by subjects with many criminal records for drug crimes and operating very sophisticatedly and cunningly with many tricks to deal with the authorities.

To encourage the Special Investigation Team and officers to successfully solve the case, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police and Vinh City People's Committee congratulated, rewarded and requested Vinh City Police to promptly investigate and clarify the criminal acts of the subjects to handle them according to the law.
