Announcement of 499 elected candidates, 1 case not confirmed as a member of the 15th National Assembly
The National Election Council has just issued a Resolution announcing the election results and the list of elected deputies to the 15th National Assembly.
This afternoon (June 10), a press conference was held at the National Assembly House to announce the Resolution of the National Election Council on the election results and the list of elected deputies to the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, 499 people were elected deputies to the 15th National Assembly.

Speaking at the opening press conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council emphasized that the election took place in an exciting, democratic, equal, lawful, absolutely safe, economical, and very successful atmosphere, truly a great festival for all people with 99.6% of the total number of voters going to the polls.
Personnel work was carried out democratically, publicly, scientifically, and in accordance with procedures; election campaigns were conducted in accordance with the law, flexibly, creatively, and ensured Covid-19 prevention and control; inspection, supervision, security, and epidemic prevention and control work took place safely.

The success of the election demonstrates the combined strength of the people and the political system under the leadership of the Party, the strength of national solidarity and the people's firm belief in the regime, the Party and the State.
“The election results are proof that in times of difficulty and challenge, patriotism, self-reliance, and the aspiration to rise up of the nation and people are increasingly nurtured and strongly promoted.”
Mr. Bui Van Cuong - General Secretary of the National Assembly, Chief of Office of the National Election Council said that the election had elected enough 500 National Assembly deputies. However, during the process of considering and confirming the qualifications of the elected candidates, the National Election Council at its 6th session decided not to confirm the qualifications of the deputies because they did not meet the prescribed standards for one case, at Unit No. 1 in Binh Duong province.
