Workers of Viet Glory Company Limited have not returned to work after the company's response notice.
(Baonghean.vn) - After the announcement of responding and resolving 8 petitions of workers of Viet Glory Company Limited, this morning (October 3), workers still have not returned to work.
As reported, at noon on October 2, at Viet Glory Company Limited, there was a collective work stoppage with the participation of nearly 100 workers.6,000 workersAfter gathering at the parking lot, at 1:30 p.m., over 5,000 workers left together.
Immediately after receiving the information, on the afternoon of October 2, departments and branches of Dien Chau district including: People's Committee, Labor Federation, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, District Police; People's Committee and Dien Truong Commune Police were present. The Economic Department of Nghe An Provincial Police was also present to participate in solving the cause. After understanding, the workers' representatives proposed 8 contents to the company's leadership.

At the end of October 2, the leadership of Viet Glory Company Limited issued a notice to respond to the workers’ petitions. Accordingly, the company responded to the 8 petitions of the workers as follows:
1. Request a base salary increase.
According to regulations, the minimum wage in Dien Chau Region III is 3,640,000 VND, the company's current basic salary is 4,130,000 VND, higher than the regional basic salary, in accordance with regulations. Considering the current situation, the company cannot adjust the salary increase, hoping that workers will sympathize and share.
2. The company will adjust the working attitude of all foreign and Vietnamese staff. Any individual who violates will be disciplined according to the company's regulations. In the coming time, the company will increase staff training.
3. According to current regulations, the company has been implementing the following regulations: Pregnant workers from the 7th month onwards are allowed to leave work 1 hour earlier than the regulations.
4. The company will direct the technical department to re-check the timekeeping equipment, if there is a problem, it will be fixed immediately. If the worker cannot check the time, the HR department must be notified immediately.
5. The company will adjust meeting times to suit production conditions. If there is a meeting scheduled outside of working hours, overtime will be calculated according to regulations.
6. On October 1, in order to encourage the spirit of the staff and workers, and at the same time increase income to ensure the lives of workers, the company decided to increase production bonuses for all staff and workers of the factory.
In the coming time, the company will review and resolve the remaining two issues:
7. The 13th month bonus will be calculated according to the company's welfare regulations.
8. Increase the number of workers with heavy work and increase the heavy work allowance: The company will comply with the provisions of the law.

In this announcement, the Company's Board of Directors also requested all workers to return to work on the morning of October 3. Workers who do not come to work will be handled according to the provisions of the Law and the Company.free time5 days a month will be fired.

However, until this morning, October 3, workers of Viet Glory Company Limited still did not agree with the company's announcement, did not enter the factory to work but gathered in front of the company gate.

VietGlory Company Limited was established on November 19, 2019 under Certificate No. 2902020657 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province, located at Hamlet 8, Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, Nghe An Province, currently has over 6,000 workers and the company is in the process of constructing phase 2.
