Con Cuong voters reflect many problems of people's lives
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meeting, voters reflected on many issues related to the lack of infrastructure in the electricity sector, the need to invest in irrigation systems, and the lack of jobs for rural workers.
Care about jobs for rural workers
On the morning of April 25, National Assembly deputies: Le Quang Huy - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Nguyen Thi Thao - Doctor of Tay Bac General Hospital had a meeting with voters before the 7th session in Yen Khe commune (Con Cuong district).
At the beginning of the meeting, delegate Le Quang Huy shared with voters the programs of the upcoming meeting.
At the meeting, many voters reported issues related to the electricity industry. Among them were sudden power outages in localities without clear reasons. Meanwhile, the electricity used daily is very weak, affecting daily life as well as business.

Voter Luong Thi Hoa suggested that the electricity sector should pay more attention to the power grid in Yen Khe commune. “Currently, there is a shortage of electric poles, so to have electricity, we have to buy our own wires and stretch them very far. This work is very difficult and dangerous,” said Ms. Hoa, adding that the electricity sector should invest in more poles.
Also at the meeting, many voters said that electricity in this locality has not received attention or investment, while, along with the whole country, electricity prices have been increasing continuously.![]() |

Present at the meeting, voter Quang Van Tri said that social evils often occur in the locality. “There is a lot of surplus labor, people do not know what to do and have to go to work in the mines, every year people die. Those who do not go to work stay at home and get involved in social evils. I suggest that all levels pay more attention to vocational training,” said Mr. Tri.
Sharing the same view, voter Nguyen Duc Thang said that it is necessary to quickly solve the problem of jobs for the surplus labor in the locality, because if it is not solved, social evils will increase. “There are almost no large factories or companies in the district. Our children have to go abroad to work in many unsafe places such as working in ores and mining gold. We suggest that we need to increase investment attraction, bring factories and businesses back to create jobs for our children,” said Mr. Thang.

Voter Nguyen Van Hieu said that the village chief's work is currently very heavy but the allowance is too little. He suggested that the authorities pay more attention. "In addition, in Yen Khe, the rice harvest is about to begin but there is a serious shortage of water for the rice to ripen. We suggest that more investment be made in the irrigation system," said Mr. Hieu.
Listen to resolve promptly
Explaining directly at the meeting, Mr. Le Dac Tu - Director of Con Cuong Electricity Company said that in Yen Khe commune, the electricity industry also has certain investments. However, in the development process, there is population dispersion leading to the electricity poles not being able to meet the demand. "Regarding this issue, we have previously considered and proposed a solution that the government and the people work together. In which, the people will invest in the electricity poles themselves, and the electricity industry will support the wire pulling", Mr. Tu said.
Speaking at the meeting, delegate Le Quang Huy said that the electricity sector needs to listen, absorb and resolve the issues raised by voters. At the same time, delegate Le Quang Huy also acknowledged other contributions from voters.
