From 2014 to present, the Provincial People's Committee has approved 111 ships eligible for loans to build new ships, upgrade fishing ships and logistics service ships for offshore fishing (including: 80 wooden-hulled ships; 26 iron-hulled ships; 5 composite-hulled ships). To date, 36 ships have been completed and put into production (including 28 wooden-hulled ships; 5 iron-hulled ships; 3 composite-hulled ships); 44 ships have signed credit contracts with banks and 33 ships are completing procedures for submission to banks for appraisal.

Because the content of the voters' petition does not clearly state specific shortcomings in the implementation of the policy, the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town is assigned to synthesize the fishermen's suggestions and send them to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to advise on proposals to adjust inappropriate contents when there is a policy to supplement and amend Decree 67/2014/ND-CP of the Government./.
